Nursing Students Hold Health Literacy Fair
麻豆视频在线观看 Associate Degree Nursing students held a Health Literacy Fair recently on the Tarboro campus. Health literacy is the ability to obtain and understand health information needed to make informed decisions regarding one鈥檚 care. Limited health literacy is associated with poor health. The students chose health issues common to Edgecombe and Nash counties to present to the public. Attendees learned about lifestyle modifications, health screenings, and risks associated with health issues commonly seen in the area.
