Students Enjoy a Spooky Celebration on ECC鈥檚 Campuses

An inflatable obstacle course, pumpkin painting, canvas painting, games and a Halloween costume contest were just some of the activities 麻豆视频在线观看 students engaged in during the annual Fall Fest.

鈥淚t鈥檚 a time to fellowship with other students, have fun, and interact with faculty and staff,鈥 said Ashley King, student activities coordinator at ECC.

The Fall Fest, presented by ECC鈥檚 Student Government Association, was a two-day event. Day one took place Wednesday, Oct. 30 on ECC鈥檚 Rocky Mount campus. On Halloween, the students on Tarboro鈥檚 campus enjoyed the festivities, including a Halloween costume contest. Students and faculty dressed for the chance to win a special trophy and a voucher to ECC鈥檚 campus store. SGA also worked in collaboration with the Cosmetology department for a mannequin competition. Cosmetic Arts students entered their mannequin in the contest, featuring a Disney character theme.

According to King, more than 14 vendors representing the community and various ECC clubs and organizations were a part of Fall Fest. Some of the participants included the TRIO program, NC State Department of Transportation, ECU鈥檚 Partnership Teach, OIC, NC Wesleyan University, UNC Wilmington and more.

鈥淲e want to make sure everyone is informed and has a good time, and show everyone that ECC cares,鈥 noted King.
